ESGAA is currently organizing the 2013 International Biennale which will take place from October 17th to November 30th, 2013 in Alsace.
We are calling for any artists which would like to show one or more of pieces of art within the framework of the 2013 Biennale.
In order to contribute, every artist must :
- submit their work as soon as possible and no later than December 31st, 2012, by mail to ESGAA – 62 faubourg national – F - 67000 Strasbourg
- selection will be based on pictures.
A group of artists is also allowed;
The files will be kept by the organizers and won't be returned to the participants.
The file needs to include the following information:
- name, surname, date of birth, nationality, post mail address, email, phone number and title of the work
- insurance value of the work
- picture copyright (if applicable)
- 3 pictures maximum (digital pictures 300 DPI on CD-ROM, JPEG or TIFF size) per piece of art and maximum 3 works per artist.
- sizes and materials used
- a paragraph of about 10 lines explaining the creation of this work
The theme of the year 2013 is "Reflection- Reflet" (??)
The piece of art should :
- use partly or totally medium glass
- be a unique work- not edited and certified by the candidate
- be a minimum size of 30 cm diameter
- be a maximum size of 3 meters diameter and not exceed 300kg
- be transportable
- not be dangerous
Admitted artists will be personally informed and the exhibition details will then be explained.
Selected artists will also have to become members of ESGAA.
